Privacy Policy

SKUView ("SKUView," "we," "us") is operated by Ecount Solutions LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use SKUView, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Amazon seller data, retrieved directly from Amazon's Selling Partner API and Advertising API once you authorize SKUView to connect to your Amazon account: order and order-item details, fees and settlement records, refunds, inventory levels, product catalog information (name, image, ASIN), and advertising campaign performance data.
  • Account information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and store name, when you sign up or contact us.
  • Cost-of-goods and business data you manually enter into SKUView (e.g. product costs, lead times) to calculate profit.
  • Technical information needed to operate the service, such as a push-notification subscription endpoint if you opt in to order alerts.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above solely to:

  • Calculate and display your profit, fees, ad spend, and inventory analytics inside SKUView.
  • Sync your Amazon data on an ongoing basis so those figures stay current.
  • Send order notifications you've opted into.
  • Communicate with you about your account or respond to support requests.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your Amazon seller data for advertising or share it with any third party for their own marketing purposes.

3. Who We Share Information With

We share information only with the infrastructure providers necessary to operate SKUView (hosting, database, and background job scheduling), each acting under their own confidentiality and security commitments, and only to the extent needed to run the service. We do not share your Amazon seller data with any other third party.

4. Data Security

Amazon API credentials (client secrets and refresh tokens) are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption and are never logged in plain text. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active, so SKUView can show historical trends. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@getskuview.com. Disconnecting your Amazon account revokes SKUView's access to pull further data immediately.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us at the email above to exercise these rights.

7. Children's Privacy

SKUView is a business tool intended for use by adult business owners and is not directed at children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
